What is DCSS?
DCSS, also known as Desktop Client Server Software is software that is loaded on to a server, either one in house or out of, whilst retaining the application EXE on each client machine linked to the server.
This software is often used in LAN networks, as it allows for a company's computers for it's employees to run the same software on every computer. In other words, this means that the software is confined to the office premsies only in most cases.
Users are logged onto a computer, which is physically connected to an in-house server.
A software example of this, could be software that is developed on MS Access.
